BOX STYLE · MAILER BOX

Mailer box dielines.

A mailer box is the corrugated box an online order arrives in: one blank that folds into a base and a lid. Every mailer below is built from its FEFCO construction, so the dieline is drawn to the dimensions you enter, not scaled from a fixed file.

Hinged-lid mailers (FEFCO 04)

14 templates

Folder-type boxes cut from one piece. The lid continues the back wall and closes over the front, held by tuck flaps, locking ears or a foot lock. This is the classic e-commerce mailer; the models differ in how the side walls lock and how deep the walls are.

Ready-glued mailers (FEFCO 07)

3 templates

Glued once at the converter and delivered flat, these open into a box in one movement and close with a hinged lid or a tuck top. They add a gluing step in production and save time at the packing bench.

Slotted mailers with tuck ends (FEFCO 02)

6 templates

Built on the slotted-case body, with tuck-in end flaps instead of flaps that meet. FEFCO 0215 and 0216 add a snap-lock base that is folded in by hand.

Book wrap (FEFCO 0420)

1 template

A one-piece folder that wraps a flat product, such as a book or a catalogue, closing around it instead of forming a separate lid.

Before you cut a run

Choose the board with your converter first. The flute and wall thickness change how the panels fold, and Packdroid draws the dieline for the board thickness you enter.

Agree with your converter whether the sizes are inside or outside dimensions before you send the file.

Cut and fold one sample before you order a cutting die.
